Anne Berleman Kearney has extensive experience in appellate practice. She has authored briefs for the prevailing party in cases before the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the United States Supreme Court, the Illinois Supreme Court, and the Illinois Appellate Court. She has argued thirteen cases on appeal.

Joseph D. Kearney has been a primary draftsman of briefs in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C., Seventh, and Ninth Circuits, and the Wisconsin and Illinois Supreme Courts, and has argued in the Illinois and Wisconsin Supreme Courts and the Seventh Circuit.

Mr. Kearney served as a law clerk to Justice Antonin Scalia at the United States Supreme Court and Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain at the Ninth Circuit. A graduate of Harvard Law School, he practiced law for six years at Sidley & Austin in Chicago. He moved to Milwaukee in 1997 to teach law. His teaching and scholarship interests focus primarily on civil and regulatory litigation.
